The Andhra Pradesh government has joined forces with tech giants Google, YouTube, and Alphabet companies to fast-track the state's digital transformation. On Tuesday, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan, Google Asia Pacific head Sanjay Gupta, and other officials convened via video conference to explore strategic collaborations.
The meeting aimed to identify opportunities for enhancing digital infrastructure, skill development, and governance efficiency. Naidu highlighted the state's commitment to becoming India's digital hub, with a focus on partnerships with global tech leaders.
Notably, discussions included the establishment of a YouTube Academy in Andhra Pradesh to advance future technologies. Additionally, the state is set to sign the 'AI for Andhra Pradesh, Powered by Google' pact, which encompasses AI applications across various sectors including agriculture, healthcare, and sustainability.
