OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta program starts for OnePlus 11R

OnePlus has announced the commencement of the OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta testing program for the OnePlus 11R users in India, letting them experience the latest Android 14-based software ahead of the official release.

Interested users can apply for the program starting today. Go to Settings > About device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow the steps to apply

The company is currently recruiting 500 OnePlus 11R Indian users who meet the following requirements:

• Using a OnePlus 11R India variant
• An active OnePlus Community member
• Willing to regularly communicate and report issues/suggestions to the OnePlus team via the Feedback APP
• Willing to join our CBT Telegram group to communicate with the OnePlus team and other users actively and friendly
• The phone has been updated to the detectable version - CPH2487_13.1.0.581(EX01)

If your application is accepted, then you will receive the version in 3 workdays. To download, go to Settings > About device > Download Now.

In a post on the Community forums, OnePlus also highlighted the risk associated with testing this closed beta version.

"This program will sometimes require flashing builds that require a clean flash, which means it will cause data loss. So it is highly recommended that you remember to save all your data all the time. The CBT version is not considered a stable build, and is still in development. If you join the CBT version testing, you must remain patient, tolerate its instability, and accept all risks and issues that come with it," the company said.

This update also has some known issues including:

• "The service governance framework has stopped running" error while on standby on the Storage page.
• Normal charging animation is displayed when using a 20W fast charger.
• The charging icon on the lock screen does not show the decimal point."The network service has stopped running" error on the mobile network page.
• Version details page shows no network connection.
• The brightness of the AOD is abnormal.
• Black screen issue when returning to desktop after applying theme set.
• Screen flashes after clicking the automatic brightness adjustment icon in the status bar under a dark environment.
