IPL 2026: Chennai and Bengaluru Unveil New International Recruits
Chennai Super Kings have selected Delhi pacer Kuldip Yadav to replace Khaleel Ahmed, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru appointed English player Richard Gleeson as a substitute for Nuwan Thushara in the IPL. Both Khaleel and Thushara are out due to injuries.
Chennai Super Kings have announced Delhi's left-arm pacer Kuldip Yadav as the replacement for the injured Khaleel Ahmed ahead of their IPL 2026 campaign.
Simultaneously, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have signed English fast bowler Richard Gleeson to step in for the sidelined Nuwan Thushara. Both modifications are in response to player injuries that have affected their respective teams.
While Kuldip will join CSK for a price of Rs 30 lakh, Gleeson will take his place in the RCB lineup for Rs 1.6 crore. A seasoned player, Gleeson has appeared in six T20I matches, claiming nine wickets for his national side.
