Doug Bracewell, a former international cricket player from New Zealand, has been suspended for two years following a positive test for cocaine, as announced by England's Cricket Regulator.

The 35-year-old retired cricketer tested positive for cocaine and its metabolite during an in-competition sampling last September, a violation under the England and Wales Cricket Board’s anti-doping regulations.

Essex cricket club, where Bracewell concluded his career, confirmed the failed drug test, expressing their commitment to supporting the player through a rehabilitation process.
