The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled a fresh visual identity for the men's and women's ICC Champions Trophy on Wednesday, marking a significant transformation in the event's branding. This announcement serves as the precursor to the men's event, making its return after a hiatus since 2017, and the newly launched women's version set in the T20 format. Both variants of the tournament promise to showcase the best cricketing talent as teams compete for the prestigious Champions Trophy white jackets, according to ICC.

These white jackets will be contested biennially, alternating between the top eight teams of the men's ODI event and the top six teams of the women's T20 event. The competitions aim to document new chapters in cricketing history through an energetic competition. The revamped visual identity is characterized by a digital-first vibrant design, challenging conventional norms with an unconventionally bold, loud, confident, and fun typographic logo.

Designed for agility and distinctiveness, the new identity draws inspiration from cricket's unique lexicon and the sounds that animate the game, celebrating these vibrant words as part of the brand's core. ICC Chief Commercial Officer Anurag Dahiya expressed that this new identity signifies a refreshed image for the events moving forward. Notably, the ICC Men's Champions Trophy is scheduled for Pakistan in February-March next year. Pakistan, the defending champions, seized the title by defeating India in the 2017 final by 180 runs in the UK.
