There have been claims about the denial of visas to Pakistani players for the Scrabble tournament in India being inaccurate, according to government sources.
Official reports confirm that twelve visas were granted to the Pakistani team on November 7, allowing them sufficient time to attend the event. This includes top players, such as the Asia Cup winner and the World Youth Champion.
Despite this, Tariq Perez, Director of the Pakistan Scrabble Association, alleged that the Indian High Commission delayed the visa processing, hindering some team members from receiving their travel permits.
