Injury Shake-Up in All Blacks Squad Ahead of France Test
Sam Cane and Mark Tele'a of the All Blacks have been sidelined due to injuries ahead of the test against France. Cane awaits head injury protocols, while Tele'a has a hand injury. Du'Plessis Kirifi, Chay Fihaki, and Fabian Holland will join the squad for the upcoming game.
The All Blacks are facing a major lineup change ahead of their upcoming test match against France. On Monday, the New Zealand team confirmed that flanker Sam Cane and winger Mark Tele'a will miss the game due to injuries. Cane is recovering from a head cut sustained during their match against Ireland, requiring him to undergo Head Injury Assessment protocols. Tele'a, on the other hand, is grappling with a hand injury.
To compensate for these setbacks, the All Blacks have called in reinforcements. Shadow All Blacks XV captain Du'Plessis Kirifi has been drafted into the squad, accompanied by winger Chay Fihaki. Additionally, lock Fabian Holland will replace Sam Darry, who is out for the season with a knee injury.
New Zealand is set to face France at the iconic Stade de France this Saturday, and the pressure is mounting as the team adapts to these last-minute changes.
