In a thrilling start to the women's Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament, India's young striker Sangita Kumari showcased her talent by scoring twice to secure a 4-0 victory against Malaysia.
Sangita's goals came in the 8th and 55th minutes, with Preeti Dubey and Udita adding to the tally in the 43rd and 44th minutes respectively. India's aggressive approach and effective utilization of penalty corners highlighted their confident performance.
Despite Malaysia's initial threat with an early penalty corner, India dominated the field, persisting with consistent attacks and controlling the pace of the game. India now gears up to face South Korea in their next match.
