Brighton & Hove Albion have confirmed the appointment of Daniel Niedzkowski as assistant head coach, effective from January. The 47-year-old will transition from his current role at the German Football Association, where he led the coaches' training programme.
Brighton head coach Fabian Huerzeler expressed his enthusiasm over Niedzkowski's arrival, highlighting his potential to significantly bolster the coaching team. Huerzeler noted his personal familiarity with Niedzkowski, having worked with him in Germany before.
Technical director David Weir emphasized Niedzkowski's expertise in nurturing young talent, a cornerstone of Brighton's philosophy. Weir also mentioned that Niedzkowski will integrate educational programs across Brighton's men's and women's teams to elevate the club's coaching standards.
