Pakistan Triumphs Over India in Exciting Hong Kong Sixes Opener

In a thrilling opener at the Hong Kong Sixes 2024, Pakistan defeated India by six wickets. Despite robust performances by Bharat Chipli and Robin Uthappa, India’s total of 119 was overpowered by Pakistan, thanks to Asif Ali’s rapid 55 and strong contributions from Muhammad Akhlaq and Faheem Ashraf.

In an electrifying start to the Hong Kong Sixes 2024, Pakistan claimed victory over India by six wickets at the Tin Kwong Road Cricket Ground on Friday.

Despite commendable efforts from Bharat Chipli, who scored 53 off 16 balls before retiring hurt, and Robin Uthappa's 31 runs from eight balls, India set a target of 119.

Pakistan's Asif Ali was pivotal in their successful chase, scoring 55 off just 14 balls before retiring. Subsequently, Muhammad Akhlaq and Faheem Ashraf cruised to victory, ending unbeaten at 40 and 22 respectively, with an over to spare.
