The Delhi High Court has called for responses from the Centre and the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) regarding a plea to appoint an administrator to oversee the federation's daily operations.

The bench, led by Chief Justice Manmohan, also issued notices to the central government and TTFI on a public interest litigation seeking suspension of the federation's national status until it adheres to the Sports Code.

Petitioner Yatharth Pandya, a former national-level table tennis player, claims TTFI is in violation of the Sports Code, necessitating judicial intervention and transparency in its operations.
