SIS Pitches has announced the successful completion of eight new hybrid cricket pitches, split evenly between the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cricket Stadium in Amtar, Himachal Pradesh, and the Luhnu Cricket Stadium in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. This marks a significant expansion following the initial installations at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, enhancing the country's ability to host more cricket games enthusiastically driven by national interest.

Each stadium now houses four pitches—two are located on the main squares for match play, while two additional pitches serve as dedicated practice areas, significantly boosting the facilities available for cricketers of all levels. In Amtar, a 30-square-meter turf extension was incorporated to cater to future training needs, offering strategic flexibility for regional cricket ambitions.

Paul Taylor, International Sales Director, expressed optimism about the trend in hybrid pitches, citing the installations as instrumental in allowing clubs to stage more matches on durable surfaces and aiding in the development of cricketing talent. Sanjay Thakur and Vishal Jagota, representing the two stadiums, highlighted the pitches' role in enriching player experience and match quality, anticipating higher engagement from players and spectators alike.
