Maharashtra celebrated a dominant ten-wicket victory against Meghalaya in their Ranji Trophy Group A match. This impressive win was anchored by the openers, Murtaza Trunkwala and Siddhesh Vir, who made light work of the 101-run target without losing a wicket.
Trunkwala was the star with an unbeaten 78 from 73 balls, supported by Vir’s steady 24. After bundling out Meghalaya for 185 in the morning, Maharashtra easily completed the task in just 21.1 overs.
Earlier, Meghalaya recorded a modest 276 in their first innings, to which Maharashtra replied with 361. Meghalaya faltered in their second innings, paving the way for Maharashtra's comfortable chase.
