Five-time singles major champion Maria Sharapova and American twins Bob and Mike Bryan have been named to the International Tennis Hall of Fame's Class of 2025, according to organizers on Thursday.

Sharapova, a pioneering force in women's tennis, became the first Russian woman to clinch the world number one ranking in 2005. Despite a career marred by injuries and a drug suspension, she achieved a career Grand Slam and won a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics.

The Bryan twins made history by winning 16 Grand Slam men's doubles titles and holding the record for most weeks (438) as the top-ranked duo in the ATP Tour. Their induction ceremony is scheduled for August 23 in Newport, Rhode Island.
