Rishabh Pant has been cleared of any injury concerns and is set to keep wickets for India in their upcoming Test against New Zealand, coach Gautam Gambhir announced. Pant was temporarily replaced by Dhruv Jurel in the first Test after sustaining a blow but is now fit to play.

The team is also focusing on managing the workload of star bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who has featured in all three home Tests this season. With a significant tour to Australia looming, decisions on Bumrah's rest will follow the second Test. Fast bowlers' workloads will be carefully monitored.

Shubman Gill, absent due to neck stiffness in the previous Test, will return as the No. 3 batter. Gambhir is firm on his strategy emphasizing victory, as observed in India's bold approach in Bengaluru, highlighting cricket's evolving aggressive playstyle influenced by T20 formats.
