Despite Yash Dhull's resilient century, Delhi finds themselves trailing Tamil Nadu by a vast margin of 410 runs in their Group D Ranji Trophy match. Dhull's unbeaten 103 was the highlight of the day, as Delhi ended at 264 for 8 in 97 overs.

Elsewhere in Guwahati, Assam faced a grim situation against Chandigarh, struggling at 144 for 7 in their second innings. Assam's top order faltered, unable to secure big scores, with Jagjit Singh claiming four wickets for Chandigarh.
