Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Bengal claimed victories on the fifth day of the Junior National Men's Hockey Championship here on Friday.
Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu secured full points by defeating Assam 11-0, while Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand concluded at 1-1 in the final game of the day.
Odisha dominated Arunachal with an 8-0 victory as Pratap Toppo and Deepak Pradhan each secured two goals, while other team members also contributed to the scoreboard. Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu's Pramod Pal achieved a remarkable double hat-trick, leading his team to a decisive win. Andhra Pradesh overcame Kerala with a 3-1 scoreline, and Karnataka triumphed over Delhi with a commanding 6-1 performance. Bengal registered a solid 3-0 win against Gujarat.
