Empowering Our Heroes: Sports Minister Launches RESET Programme
Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya launched the Retired Sportsperson Empowerment Training (RESET) programme to support and empower retired athletes. The initiative, open to retired sportspersons aged 20-50, offers skills development through online learning, on-ground training, and internships. It aims to harness their experience for the benefit of young talents.

In a bid to support retired athletes, Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has introduced the Retired Sportsperson Empowerment Training (RESET) programme. The initiative, unveiled on National Sports Day, aims to integrate retirees back into the sports ecosystem.
Mandaviya emphasized the programme's goal of recognizing and empowering those who have brought pride to the nation through their sports achievements. He encouraged retired athletes to take advantage of this opportunity to develop new skills and remain active in the community.
Targeting athletes aged 20-50 who have gained international or national recognition, RESET will be implemented in partnership with the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE). The programme includes online learning, on-ground training, internships, and entrepreneurial guidance to ensure successful career transitions for retired athletes.
