Loose forward Fraser McReight and centre Hunter Paisami have rejoined the Wallabies for the Rugby Championship matches against New Zealand, having recovered from injuries. McReight missed the matches against South Africa and Argentina due to a hand injury, and his return is seen as crucial for Australia's back row after their heavy 67-27 defeat to the Pumas in Santa Fe.

Hunter Paisami, who was sidelined with a knee injury sustained against the Springboks in Perth, will also reinforce the midfield. Additionally, prop Isaac Kailea has been named in the 36-man squad after being ruled out of the Santa Fe clash with a head knock. Coach Joe Schmidt is largely sticking with the same team that has won only one of their four Rugby Championship matches so far.

Schmidt remarked, "The upcoming Bledisloe test in Sydney is a great opportunity to turn around our disappointing finish in Argentina." The Bledisloe test on Sept. 21 in Sydney and the follow-up test in Wellington a week later are crucial for both Australia and New Zealand, with both teams struggling to find form in the Rugby Championship. New Zealand, under new coach Scott Robertson, has also lost three of their four games.
