Lewis Hamilton Unfazed by Newey's Switch to Aston Martin
Lewis Hamilton commented on Adrian Newey's move to Aston Martin, emphasizing that it changes nothing for him. Despite Ferrari wanting to hire Newey, Hamilton remains focused on racing for Ferrari next season. Newey, known for his championship-winning designs, recently departed from Red Bull.
Lewis Hamilton expressed indifference towards Adrian Newey's decision to join Aston Martin instead of Ferrari, the team he will race for next season, asserting that it changes nothing for him.
Aston Martin revealed on Tuesday that Newey, 65, will join their ranks next March as Managing Technical Partner and shareholder after a significant tenure with Red Bull. Ferrari was also interested in securing his talents.
When questioned at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix about missing the chance to work with Newey, Hamilton, the sport's most successful driver, responded, 'honestly, no.'
