Bangladesh cricketer Litton Das disclosed that the team is gearing up to adapt to SG balls ahead of their two-match Test series against India. This adjustment comes as Bangladesh aims to build on their historic success in Pakistan, with the series set to begin next week in Chennai.

Bangladesh faces a unique challenge as they shift from the Kookaburra ball, used in their home internationals and the Pakistan series, to the SG ball, which India prefers. The SG ball differs significantly due to its prominent seam, posing different difficulties for the players.

Litton Das, in a statement to ESPNcricinfo, highlighted the increased difficulty of playing with the SG ball, especially as it ages. He underscored the importance of moving beyond their past achievements and focusing on the forthcoming series. Das played a pivotal role in Bangladesh's Test series win against Pakistan, but emphasized the necessity to concentrate on upcoming challenges.

The first Test match is scheduled to start on September 19 in Chennai, with the second Test set to be played in Kanpur from September 27. (ANI)
