Young equestrian talents are set to compete in the FEI Jumping Children's Classics, featuring notable riders like World Challenge silver medallist Puneet Jhakar and junior national champion Sreshth Raju Mantena. The event begins Thursday with selection trials kicking off on Wednesday.

The competition will see around 50 young riders vie across three age categories – Gold (Ages 12-14), Silver (Ages 10-14), and Bronze (Ages 10-14) at the Embassy International Riding School. This event is an important fixture in the Equestrian Federation of India's (EFI) 2024 calendar.

EFI Secretary General Col. Jaiveer Singh emphasized the event's significance, stating, 'The EFI CSN Show Jumping event and the FEI Jumping Children's Classics are crucial for showcasing our athletes and observing their development.' Successful competitors from the Silver and Bronze categories will represent India internationally, while Gold category winners could earn their place in the global finals in Mexico.
