England opener Tammy Beaumont crafted her tenth ODI century, guiding the team to a commanding victory in the second ODI against Ireland on Monday.
Beaumont's astounding 150* off 139 balls marked the fourth-highest individual score by an England player in women's ODIs. This achievement powered England to a massive total of 320, setting a new record for the highest score ever made in Belfast in women's ODIs. Beaumont surpassed England legend Charlotte Edwards with her 10th century, becoming the top century-maker in women's ODIs for England.
She was well-supported by Freya Kemp, whose aggressive 65 off 47 balls, helped accelerate the scoring rate. England eventually put up 320/8 in their 50 overs.
Ireland's batting faltered in response, being bowled out for just 45 in 16.5 overs. Lauren Filer and Kate Cross led England's bowling with three wickets each. Tammy Beaumont was awarded 'Player of the Match' for her stellar performance.
