He also contributed with the bat, scoring 202 runs at an average of 25.25, including a century with a top score of 118. Following a three-match T20I series starting on September 11, a five-match ODI series will commence.

Phil Salt will lead the T20I squad, stepping in for Jos Buttler, who has sustained a calf injury. Salt has been a consistent performer, amassing 885 runs with an impressive strike rate of 165.11 in 31 T20I appearances.
