Indian cricket opener Yashasvi Jaiswal praised his batting partnership with captain Rohit Sharma, describing it as an 'incredible experience.' Jaiswal noted that batting alongside Sharma offers valuable lessons, such as adapting to different pitch conditions. He made these remarks ahead of the Duleep Trophy opener on Thursday, signaling the start of the domestic cricket season in India.

Jaiswal elaborated on the insights gained from Sharma, saying, 'The way he controls the game and understands the wicket is spot on. There are a lot of things you can learn from him, like adjusting your batting to seaming or turning tracks, or changing your approach when wickets fall.' He expressed that batting with Rohit has enhanced his ability to read game scenarios and adapt accordingly.

Reflecting on his growth over the past year, Jaiswal stated, 'Playing domestic cricket, I was unaware of many things. International cricket and communication have improved my game-reading skills. I just want to keep learning.' He also mentioned his positive relationship with India's head coach Gautam Gambhir, praising him for encouraging players to play freely and with confidence.
