World number 13, Bernadette Szocs, and Manush Shah spearheaded Ahmedabad SG Pipers' advance into the semi-finals with a resounding 12-3 win over Jaipur Patriots in their final league match of the Ultimate Table Tennis 2024. The Pipers, now second in the standings with 42 points, ousted Chennai Lions from the competition at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.

Jaipur Patriots ended their inaugural UTT campaign at the bottom of the eight-team league with just 28 points. Ahmedabad SG Pipers dominated Wednesday's tie from the outset, with Lilian Bardet setting the tone by defeating Cho Seungmin in the first men's singles. Bernadette Szocs furthered their lead by winning the women's singles, and Szocs, teaming with Manush Shah, continued their unbeaten streak in mixed doubles.

Manush Shah's victory in the second men's singles and Reeth Rishya's win in the second women's singles cemented the Pipers' triumph. PBG Bengaluru Smashers lead the table with 48 points and will face Athlead Goa Challengers in the first semi-final. Ahmedabad SG Pipers will compete against Dabang Delhi TTC for a place in the final.
