Indian cyclists Arshad Shaik and Jyoti Gaderiya finished 11th and 16th in their Paralympic time trial events, held Wednesday.

Gaderiya completed the 5.8km women's C1 individual time trial in 30:00.16, securing the 16th place. Maike Hausberger of Germany won gold with a 21:30.45 finish, while Britain's Frances Brown and Sweden's Anna Beck earned silver and bronze, clocking 21:46.18 and 21:54.71, respectively.

In the men's C2 time trial, Arshad finished with a time of 25:20.11, placing 11th. France's Alexandre Leaute claimed gold at 19:24.25, followed by Belgium's Ewoud Vromant and Australia's Darren Hicks, who clocked 19:26.45 and 19:26.61, respectively. Both Indian athletes have overcome severe physical impairments due to accidents and continue to inspire with their resilience.
