Nita M Ambani, founder-chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, has praised the Indian contingent for their exceptional performances at the ongoing Paris Paralympics. She highlighted their "remarkable journeys" and "triumphs" as exemplifying the "resilience of the human spirit." India's athletes have secured three golds, five silvers, and seven bronzes, bringing their medal tally to 15, just five medals short of surpassing their Tokyo 2020 record.

In an official statement, Ambani congratulated several individual medalists, including Nithya Sivan, Sumit Antil, and Sheetal Devi, among others. She commended the athletes for filling "every Indian heart with immense pride" through their perseverance and achievements. Special mentions were given to para-shuttlers like Nitesh Kumar, who won gold, and Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj, who secured a silver, continuing his success from the Tokyo Paralympics.

India also excelled in para-archery and athletics. Highlight performances included Sumit Antil's record-breaking gold in men's javelin throw F64 and Nishad Kumar's silver in men's high jump T47. Additionally, Preeti Pal made history as the first Indian woman to win two medals in track & field events at the Paralympics. India's largest-ever Paralympic contingent of 84 athletes aims to surpass the nation's previous achievements from Tokyo 2020.
