As the Ultimate Table Tennis 2024 race intensifies, former champions Chennai Lions are counting on World No. 38 Achanta Sharath Kamal's seasoned expertise to catapult them into the top-four as they face Puneri Paltan Table Tennis at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Tuesday.

Fresh from a decisive 9-6 victory against Jaipur Patriots, Puneri Paltan Table Tennis have revived their knockout hopes. Ranked sixth, they need to outperform the star-studded Chennai side in their final league contest to climb higher.

Pune holds the sixth spot with 28 points after winning two of four ties, while Chennai stands seventh with 25 points. Expect an edge-of-the-seat contest, featuring rising star Ankur Bhattercharya for Pune and the experienced duo of Sharath Kamal and Mouma Das for Chennai.
