Suhas Yathiraj Triumphs Again: Aiming for Back-to-Back Paralympic Medals
Suhas Yathiraj, a 41-year-old IAS officer and silver medalist from the Tokyo Games, is set to become the first Indian shuttler to win consecutive Paralympic medals. In a commendable feat, Suhas Yathiraj, a 41-year-old silver medalist from the Tokyo Games, is on the brink of becoming the first Indian shuttler to secure back-to-back Paralympic medals.
Demonstrating dominance, Suhas outclassed compatriot Sukant Kadam in straight games, winning 21-17, 21-12, and advanced to the men's singles SL4 final on Sunday.
Suhas, who is also a 2007 batch IAS officer, now aims to avenge his Tokyo loss against France's Lucas Mazur. Notably, Suhas's transition from administration to badminton highlights his indomitable spirit and dedication.
