The Indian rowing duo of Narayana Konganapalle and Anita, who previously won a silver medal at the Asian Para Games, finished eighth in the PR3 mixed double sculls event at the Paris Paralympics.

Competing for the first time at the Paralympics, the pair posted a timing of 8:16.96 seconds in the Final B of their repechage race. They finished second in this race, behind the USA team of Saige Happer and Todd Vogt, who clocked in at 7:48.38 seconds.

Konganapalle, an army sepoy who lost his leg below the knee due to a landmine accident, and Anita, who lost her leg in a road accident, demonstrated resilience despite the challenges. The PR3 category is designated for para-rowers with some leg function allowing seat movement during rowing.
