Indian Golf Legends Set to Compete at Inaugural India Legends Championships

Indian superstars Jeev Milkha Singh and Jyoti Randhawa are preparing to face former US Open winner Michael Campbell and six-time Legends Tour winner Adilson Da Silva of Brazil in the inaugural India Legends Championships, starting on Friday at Jaypee Greens Golf Course.

The $500,000 event is India's first formal tournament for senior golfers and forms part of the Europe-based Legends Tour. Spanning 54 holes, the competition has attracted 64 notable players.

This tournament marks the 11th leg of the Legends Tour. The victor will take home $74,250, with second and third places receiving $49,000 and $32,700, respectively. The prize money is distributed down the field. Co-sanctioned by the Professional Golf Tour of India, the event was preceded by two Pro-Ams attended by cricket stars, including Kapil Dev and Yuvraj Singh.
