Arunachal Pradesh's Chief Minister Pema Khandu has revealed an ambitious plan to catapult the state's sporting infrastructure and talent development to new heights.
Speaking at the National Sports Day event, he outlined the government's comprehensive roadmap focused on empowering youth and nurturing athletes to compete on global platforms, specifically targeting the 2028 and 2032 Olympics.
Khandu also announced the establishment of new sports facilities, including world-class stadiums and training centers, coupled with significant cash incentives and educational scholarships to foster a robust sports culture in the state.
