Tanvi Patri, a young badminton sensation from India, clinched the under-15 girls singles title at the Badminton Asia U-17 & U-15 Junior Championships. In the final match held in Chengdu, China, Patri defeated Thi Thu Huyen Nguyen of Vietnam in a swift 22-20, 21-11 win.

Despite trailing 11-17 in the first game, Patri capitalized on Nguyen's unforced errors to claim the game. She maintained her dominance to comfortably win the second game, wrapping up the match in just 34 minutes.

BAI Secretary General Sanjay Mishra praised Patri's achievement, citing it as testament to India's growing badminton talent. India finished the tournament with two medals—gold for Patri and a bronze for Gnana Dattu in the U-17 men's singles category.
