Aditi Kumari showcased her prowess by defeating Ukraine's Karolina Shperyk and Egypt's Marriem Mohamed Abdelaal. She will next face Aleksandra Berezovskaia in the 43kg semifinal. In the 57kg category, Neha advanced to the semifinals without losing a point, ousting competitors from Greece and Georgia. She is now set to battle Kazakhstana's Anna Stratan. Pulkit dominated her 65kg matches, putting up a strong performance against competitors from China and Italy, and will now take on Egypt's Maram Ibrahim Aly.

In the Greco-Roman division, Ronak Dahiya earned a bronze medal in the 110kg category after defeating Turkey's Emrullah Capkan. He had previously lost to Hungary's eventual silver medallist, Zoltan Czako. India's medal tally could increase, with Sainath Pardhi competing in the bronze play-off in the 51kg category against Kazakhstan's Mussan Yerassyl.
