Star Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, fresh off his historic silver medal at the Paris Olympics, is set to resume his competitive season at the Lausanne Diamond League meeting on Thursday.
Chopra, nursing a persistent groin injury, clinched silver at the Paris Olympics with an impressive 89.45m throw. Previously, he made history by winning gold in the Tokyo Olympics three years ago.
The 26-year-old double Olympic medallist confirmed his participation at the Diamond League meeting in Lausanne, deferring a decision on potential surgery until after the season.
