The Intercontinental Cup marks Marquez's first assignment as head coach and the first full tournament since the retirement of legendary Sunil Chhetri. India, ranked 124th by FIFA, will face Syria and Mauritius, ranked 93rd and 179th respectively. Preparations kick off on August 31 as new and seasoned players unite to make a mark on the international stage.
