Harish Kajla, a 35-year-old officer from the Border Security Force (BSF), has made history by becoming the first Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) officer to successfully complete the Ironman challenge. Known as one of the most demanding triathlons globally, the event took place in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Kajla, who joined the BSF in 2012 and is presently on deputation with the National Security Guard (NSG), finished the triathlon with an impressive time of 12:42:25. The Ironman challenge comprises a 3.8 km swim, 180 km cycle, and a 42.2 km run, with the cut-off timing set at 15:45:00 for his age category.

The official X handle of BSF shared this triumphant news, highlighting Kajla's achievement. The force also posted photos of Kajla holding the national flag and the flags of BSF and NSG at the finish line. This accomplishment not only brings pride to the nation but also underscores the resilience and determination of India's armed forces.
