The quarterfinal matchups for the ongoing edition of the Durand Cup were unveiled following a virtual draw held with representatives from the eight qualifying teams. Defending champions Mohun Bagan FC will face Punjab FC.

According to an Indian Super League (ISL) press release, representatives of the teams participated in a video call to finalize the matchups. The draw was conducted live, determining the venues and opponents for each quarterfinal clash.

The decision was made to move the second quarterfinal from Kolkata to Shillong, factoring in the playing conditions. The Durand Cup, which commenced on July 27, will conclude on August 31 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan. The tournament saw 24 teams, including one from Nepal and all 12 Indian Super League (ISL) teams, compete for the title.
