Punjab FC Appoints Manish Timsina as New Goalkeeping Coach

On Friday, Punjab FC officially named Manish Timsina as their new goalkeeping coach ahead of the upcoming Indian Super League season. Timsina brings extensive coaching experience and credentials, holding both AFC/FAM Goalkeeping 'A' and ANFA 'A' Diploma licenses.

Currently serving as the goalkeeping coach for the Nepal national team, Timsina has also worked with I-League team Gokulam Kerala. During his tenure at Gokulam, he was instrumental in securing their I-League title. The 36-year-old coach began his senior career leading Morang DFA in 2018 before moving on to coach Nepal's U-15 national goalkeepers.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Timsina stated, "I am thrilled to begin this new journey with Punjab FC. The squad has a strong group of goalkeepers, and I am eager to work with each of them to elevate their game." Timsina will now mentor PFC goalkeepers Ravi Kumar, Jaskaranbir Singh, Abujam Penand Singh, and Muheet Shabir. PFC's Football Director Nikolaos Topoliatis added, "We are pleased to have Timsina join us as the goalkeeping coach. With a young and talented group of keepers under his guidance, we are confident in his ability to help the team compete for all three trophies and to develop our young keepers to reach their full potential."
