In a remarkable display of skill and power, India's Vinesh Phogat advanced to the women's 50kg wrestling final at the Paris Olympics by defeating Cuba's Yusneylis Guzman Lopez with a score of 5-0. Phogat's win marks a historic moment as she becomes the first Indian woman to reach an Olympic wrestling final.

Phogat is set to face the United States' Sarah Ann Hildebrandt in the final match, scheduled for 12:30 AM IST on Thursday. Indian athletics also saw a significant performance from Avinash Sable, who finished fifth in the men's 3000m steeplechase final with a time of 8:15.43s.

The 12th day of the event promises excitement for Indian sports enthusiasts, with Priyanka and Suraj Panwar competing in the Marathon Race Walk Mixed Relay Final at 11 AM IST. Other athletes in action include golfers Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar, paddlers Manika Batra, Sreeja Akula, and Archana Kamath, weightlifter Mirabai Chanu, and several others across various disciplines.
