Surfing Stars Shine: Kamali P and Ramesh Budihal Lead Mahabs Point Break Challenge

Karnataka's Ramesh Budihal and Tamil Nadu's Kamali P triumphed in the Open Men’s and Women’s categories at the Mahabs Point Break Challenge National Surf Series. Kamali also won the Groms 16 and Under Women’s category. Young talent Kishore Kumar won the Groms 16 and Under Boys category. Ramesh achieved a hat-trick of titles.

Karnataka's Ramesh Budihal and Tamil Nadu's Kamali P asserted their dominance in the Open Men's and Women's categories during the Mahabs Point Break Challenge National Surf Series on Friday.

Kamali showcased her versatility by also clinching the Groms 16 and Under Women's title with ease.

Ramesh, the reigning champion for the past two years, secured his third consecutive title at this annual event.

Young prodigy Kishore Kumar came into the spotlight by winning the Groms 16 and Under Boys category.

In the Men's Open final, Budihal fended off tough competition from Tamil Nadu's Ajeesh Ali and Kishore to emerge victorious, scoring 12.83 points.

Kamali dominated the Women's Open final, scoring a notable 14.33. TN's Shrishti Selvam and Sandhya Arun took the second and third spots.

Sugar Shanti Banarse, a favorite, had a disappointing finish in fourth place.

Kamali also scored a remarkable win in the Groms 16 and Under Girls category.

Karnataka's Saanvi Hegde and TN's Dhamayanthi Sriram finished second and third, respectively.

In the Groms 16 and Under Boys, Kishore Kumar's impressive run concluded with a victory, as he bested Tayin Arun and Harish P.
