Indian golfer Arjun Atwal has made the cut at the Kaulig Companies Championship, which is taking place at Firestone Country Club. Atwal posted a 1-over 71 in the second round, featuring two birdies and three bogeys, after shooting a 4-over 74 in the first round. This places him at 5-over 145, tied for 49th position.

New Zealander Steven Alker took the low round of the day with a 65, giving him a one-stroke lead over 18-hole co-leader Steve Stricker heading into the weekend. Alker, with scores of 68-65 to be 7-under, is on the hunt for his ninth win on the PGA Tour Champions and his second of the 2024 season.

Alker aims to become the fifth multi-time winner on the PGA Tour Champions this season, joining Stephen Ames, Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington, and Richard Bland.
