The fire, which began on Wednesday, prompted a massive rescue operation that successfully evacuated 11 people from the smoke-filled premises.
Local fire authorities responded swiftly by sending 12 fire engines to the scene as the blaze engulfed the Central Plaza mall located at the bustling main chowk of Itahari Sub-metropolitan City.
