The Gurugram housing market saw a significant upswing in demand for luxury homes last year, with sales increasing by an impressive 66% to nearly Rs 1.07 lakh crore, according to data analytics firm PropEquity.

Newly released data highlights a surge in housing sales across the top nine cities in value terms, with Gurugram leading the trend, rising from 64,314 units in 2023 to 1,06,739 units last year. While the report did not specify real estate companies by name, notable sellers, as per local brokers, include DLF, Signature Global, and Godrej Properties among others.

Industry voices suggest that the impressive increase, along with a rise in the average sales price to Rs 12,469 per sq ft, can be attributed to robust infrastructure development and growing corporate presence across Delhi-NCR. This, coupled with strong investor interest, indicates a vibrant future for Gurugram's real estate market.
