At a recent event in Hyderabad, Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar declared the Northeast as a rising development powerhouse for India. Speaking at the North East Trade and Investment Roadshow, Majumdar emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to the region.
This includes allocating funds and building 17 new airports to enhance connectivity, aiming to attract substantial investments. Organized in collaboration with MDoNER, FICCI, and state governments, the roadshow seeks to unlock the region's untapped potential.
Majumdar invited investors to capitalize on these opportunities, noting the growing interest evident at the well-attended Hyderabad event. With key figures like Mizoram Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati present, the push for development in the Northeast gains momentum.
