Tragic Tiger Attack Raises Wildlife Concerns in Dudhwa Buffer Zone

A farm laborer's life was tragically cut short in the Majhgain range of Dudhwa's buffer zone, as a tiger attack claimed the life of 25-year-old Baburam. He was at work when the tiger, straying from nearby forests, attacked and dragged him into the sugarcane fields.
The victim, a resident of Rajapurwa within the Majhgain police limits, was found partially eaten later that evening. Officials have promised an inquiry and potential compensation for the victim's family.
In a related event, South Kheri forest officers captured a leopard that had been troubling Manjhra cattle farm. Medical examinations are underway to provide further information on its health and attributes.
