Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap has directed Public Works Department (PWD) officials to create a preliminary project report aimed at repairing the Boileauganj and Chaura Maidan roads. These roads were severely damaged by landslides in August, disrupting traffic flow.
Leading a meeting focused on road repair, Kashyap emphasized the need to consider recommendations from the Geological Survey of India (GSI). He urged officials to formulate a permanent solution that ensures safer roadways and pedestrian paths.
To advance these efforts, the district administration has enlisted a team of geologists and specialists to conduct comprehensive studies. These studies will inform an action plan for stabilizing the affected area's geological structure, forming the basis of the forthcoming project report.
