A devastating lightning strike claimed the lives of five individuals, including three children, in Gujarat's Amreli district, officials reported on Saturday evening.
The tragic incident occurred around 6 pm in Ambardi village during severe weather conditions, according to a Damnagar police station representative.
The victims, farm laborers and their children, were heading home when they were fatally struck by lightning. Despite being rushed to the hospital, they were pronounced dead upon arrival.
