On September 12th, Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde inaugurated the iconic bow-string arch bridge linking to the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, marking a significant milestone for the Mumbai Coastal Road Project.
Egis, a global leader in architectural and construction engineering, played a pivotal role as the Project Management Consultant. The company was responsible for design review, construction supervision, and ensuring the project's adherence to technical specifications and contractual obligations.
The project features groundbreaking engineering feats such as the construction of a dual 4-lane highway, sea bridges, and India's first-ever use of monopile foundations. Egis has also incorporated eco-design solutions, including the creation of an artificial coral reef to support marine life.
